Peter Sachse, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Macys.com is led by Chairman Peter Sachse, who is also president
and chief marketing officer of Macy's Corporate Marketing. Sachse
was named to lead Macy's Corporate Marketing in May 2007; he
was the company's first chief marketing officer in June 2003. He
was named chairman of macys.com in April 2006. Prior to serving
as president of Macy's Corporate Marketing and chairman of
macys.com, Sachse was president and CEO of the company's Bon
Marché division (now part of Macy's West). He began his retail
career with Macy's in Kansas City and was division merchandise
manager at Macy's Bullock's division. He was also executive vice
president/general merchandise manager at Macy's East and was
later promoted to vice chair/director of stores.
