1 Director of Stores
            -Responsible for 60-180 stores

4-11 Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs)
            -Responsible for 16-23 stores each

6 Regional Merchandise Managers (RMM) per RVP
            -Responsible for 16-23 stores per merchandise pyramid
            -Merchandise, train, and inform central on local trends

16-23 stores report to each of the six regional vice presidents, who in turn report to the director of stores. There are also six regional merchandise managers per regional vice president.

My Macy’s Region (~60-120 stores)

1 Regional Director of Stores
            -Responsible for ~60-120 stores

5 Regional Planning Managers
            -Responsible for planning ~60 stores per merchandise pyramid
            -By Family of Business
            -Reports to Central Planning

5-11 District Vice Presidents (DVP)
            -Responsible for 10-12 stores each

7 District Merchants per DVP
            -Responsible for 10-12 stores per merchandise pyramid
            -By major Family of Business
            -Merchandise, train

5 District Planners per DVP
            -Responsible for 10-12 stores per merchandise pyramid
            -By Family of Business
            -Plan and inform central on local trends and needs.

10-12 stores, seven District Merchants and five District Planners report to one District Vice President. 5-11 District Vice Presidents report to one Regional Director of Stores. The District Planners also report to the Regional Planning Managers.
